ABSTRACT
TDK Systems Europe Ltd began life as Grey Cell Systems over 10 years ago. As one of the early players in the mobile communications business, TDK Systems’ track record includes an impressive range of ‘firsts’. In the early 1990s, it was one of the first companies in Europe to offer credit card-sized network cards for notebook computers and among the first to make modems easy to use in different countries using software configuration. It pioneered the way in combining technologies such as LAN, modem, ISDN and GSM onto a single credit card-sized product.
