ABSTRACT
Business is a human activity (despite the fact that many actions take place in the name of business which the cynic might claim would suggest inhumanity). Although labour requirements change, clerical workers may be replaced by computers and factory workers by automation, middle managers may disappear as their organisations de-layer, there still remains a basic fact: no company can operate without people.
