ABSTRACT
Spanish explorer Ponce de León was looking for the fountain of youth. He found Florida instead. For many years, organizations have been looking for a one, magic set of competencies for their executives that will ensure good leadership and financial success. In looking for this “fountain of leadership” they may find a nice place to visit like Florida, but they will be missing what it takes to be successful in the world at large.
