Fire Doors and Other Doors

Doors play an important role in access for disabled people. At best, they can allow free movement for disabled people through an area while still providing protection against fire or the elements. At worst, they act as a considerable barrier to disabled people using the building. Not only is the door itself important but so is the arrangement of the door in a lobby set-up and its location on a wall or off a corridor.
