ABSTRACT
The appendix to this chapter covers five unbuilttemporary works. Robert Adam probably designed them all, but only two are of note. One is a large fanciful backdrop for some fireworks. This was designed optimistically in 1759 to mark the end of what is now called the Seven Years’ War; this war actually lasted until 1763. The drawing for this structure has no washes.
