ABSTRACT
Of the four churches with octagonal bodies, this chapter illustrates only the Cromarty chapel. The drawings for the church ‘in the north part’ of Edinburgh are not quite finished, the church in Glasgow’s Trongate has no important front as it is set behind some houses, and Stanage church is effectively a reduced version of Cromarty chapel.
