ABSTRACT
I conclude this book on a personal note. I have been working in the IT industry (or “DP” as I used to call it before I got all wrinkly) for 27 years. It has been an absolutely fantastic industry for me. Had I been born in a previous generation, I would probably have been forced into clerical or accountancy work — boring, repetitive stuff which I would have hated.
