ABSTRACT
In1969Ibegansearchingforsomekindof liquidemulsionbymixingmyownemulsion fromformulasfoundinoldphotographicjournals.Thismethodprovedinconsistentand bothersome,sincemanyofthechemicalswere difficultorimpossibletolocate.In1970I beganalmostexclusivelytouseLiquidLight, acommerciallyavailableliquidemulsionproducedbytheRocklandColloidCompany. LiquidLightisamedium-speedemulsionthat worksundernormalphotographicconditions. Itisavailableinfoursizes:half-pint,pint, quart,andgallon.LiquidLightispackagedin light-tightplasticcontainers.Itshouldbe storedinacoolplaceorrefrigeratorfor maximumshelflife.Freezingmayalterthe viscosityoftheemulsionandisnotrecommended.
