Performance Improvement

The training and development (T&D) function is shifting its focus to performance improvement, where a variety of training and nontraining solutions are implemented to improve performance in the organization. This paradigm shift represents a tremendous change in the way the training and development function is organized, managed, and operated to provide programs and services. Training and development’s roles, skills, and outputs are drastically changing as the T&D department’s staff members transform into a group of capable performance improvement specialists.
