Services include consumer and business-to-business activities. Consumer services comprise education, healthcare, government administration, sports and recreation, entertainment and leisure, tourism, finance, personal and professional services, and charitable activities. Business-to-business services include computing and telecoms, media, consultancy, legal and professional, financial, technical, personnel and recruitment, catering, janitorial and maintenance. Given such variety of coverage, it is not surprising that the service sector now accounts for more GDP and employment than manufacturing, and is a key recruitment ground for marketers.
