ABSTRACT
During the preceding chapters the opportunities for quantity surveyors to develop new expertise in areas that are either available now or emerging have been described. Many of these opportunities depend on the adoption of new technologies. This chapter reviews other industries’ experiences of integrating new technology into existing work practices and processes, and concludes with a strategy for successfully integrating new technology into a surveying organisation.
