The shoot

The only way a production manager knows if the preparation has succeeded is if the shoot goes smoothly, although it should be noted that this does not necessarily mean that the shoot goes precisely to plan. It should be more a case of the plans being sufficiently flexible that they can accommodate any last-minute changes without unduly affecting the overall scheme of the production. This is one area where properly scheduled pick-up times can pay full dividends.
