ABSTRACT
Unlike in the Dickens tale-"It was the best of times. lt was the worst of times" -for me, it was only the best of times. For five years I had been working for a top producing company with important talents from theater, film, and television. I had only one direction to travel and that was to Broadway. Up to this time, Broadway had eluded me. Every show that promised to take me there was either stillborn or died as we trave1ed the country in tryouts.
