ABSTRACT

Timing to Suggest Weight and Force — 1 Each part of the body moves as a result of the action of muscles, or as a result of the movement of another part of the body to which it is attached. For instance in Fig. A, when the arm is raised, the upper arm tends to be raised fi rst by the shoulder muscles. As the elbow is a fl exible joint, there is a time lag before the forearm starts to move and similarly another time lag before the hand moves.
