Audio Tools in Vegas 5 Recording Audio in Vegas 5 Vegas was one of the early multitrack editors available for the PC before the advent of Vegas Video 2.0. Having set the standard for audio on the PC with Sound Forge several years previously, a multitrack tool was a logical step, and like Forge, it became a standard for the Windows environment.
