ABSTRACT
The clerks, typists and secretaries of CastBright Ltd. were a ‘team’ in that they all reported to the administration manager, Rakesh Ram. But all was not well. A great deal of squabbling went on: there were three distinct ‘cliques’ on the clerical side, and many memos travelled back and forth over trivial matters. There was a lot of muttering and complaining. It was possible to get the impression at times that people would do anything rather than co-operate with one another.
