ABSTRACT

Other tutorials in this book, such as Piccadilly Circus and The Planets, have already introduced simple forms of expressions that require a single “pick whip” move to tie one layer’s properties to another. In this tutorial, we will introduce a series of slightly more advanced – but still easy to master – expressions that are useful for a number of common

animation tasks. While we’re building those expressions, we will also try to expose the most common trip-ups, and how to solve them. In the process, you will gain a fundamental understanding of how expressions work and how to manage them in your own projects.
