ABSTRACT
Statute law comprises Acts of Parliament, such as the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 (HSWA). ‘Enabling Acts’ like HSWA give rise to ‘statutory instruments’, in the form of Regulations, such as the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 (MHSWR).
