ABSTRACT
Introduction Our model of Event Studies revealed how foundation theory is needed to help us understand event experiences and meanings, outcomes, management, antecedents and choices, patterns and processes. The overview of planned events in the previous chapter has already introduced a number of disciplinary perspectives on Event Studies, especially some of the sociological and anthropological dimensions of the study of celebration and festivity.
