ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we focus on what, at the end of the day, is the essence of what the publicity business is now and what it started out to be-getting ink for the client, no matter who or where he or she is. As you will see later in the book, the industry has grown to the point where much of the focus is on the glitz and glamour, or the return on investment for a sponsor or an organization, or on maximizing company revenue. All very encouraging for an industry that continues to grow and expand.
