ABSTRACT

Sunlight is bactericidal – particularly effective against tuberculosis.4 It’s vital for calcium assimilation, vitamin D production and liver processes,5 accelerates toxin elimination,6 and nourishes hormone-regulating organs (pituitary, pineal and hypothalamus) affecting melatonin, growth and balance.7 But light – amount and quality – doesn’t only have biological and photochemical effects; it also affects how we relate to the world.
