ABSTRACT
In special events, nowhere is our shared heritage with the world of theater more obvious than in staging, and we have borrowed extensively from theater terminology. The first instance of this is the style of stages, which go all the way back to the Greeks. The second important instance is in the directions for performers and those using the stage.
