ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will review design theory and how good event décor designers use it, we will explore the main categories of décor that designers use for events, and lastly, we will discuss the myriad details that a designer and a producer must consider when integrating a décor setup into the event production schedule. This is not intended to be an exhaustive treatment of this subject, but only enough to acquaint producers with the essentials.
