ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Editing is the process of assembling a series of shots to form a logical sequence. Pacing, subtext, and the ability to convey emotion can be heavily infl uenced by decisions made in the editing room. A good editor must possess a strong sense of timing and an outstanding storytelling ability to assemble a logical, entertaining, and emotionally driven story from thousands of individual shots.
