ABSTRACT
Compact and insulated ‘boxes’ of low profile are best for calves,
pigs or poultry. They may include total or partial environmental
control. In contrast, ‘kennels’ are cheaply framed, semi-open,
mono-pitch structures suitable for some cattle and pig layouts.
