ABSTRACT
Windows and door frames are generally available in four materials:
• Wood • Steel • Aluminium alloy • Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) Additionally, frameless glass doors are manufactured from 8 to
19mm toughened glass using stainless steel fittings. The maximum
door size being dependent on the weight of glass and the type of
glass fixing adopted.
