ABSTRACT

ROI, including the types of data to collect and the level of evaluation that is appropriate for an ROI calculation. The traditional, and recommended, approach is to base ROI calculations strictly on business results from the program. Business performance measures (Level 4 data) are converted to a monetary value to include in the ROI calculation. Sometimes these measures are not available and it is assumed that an ROI calculation is out of the question. This chapter shows how ROI calculations are possible at all levels of evaluation.
