ABSTRACT
This picture is a concept piece for a new game by Sibilant interactive – W.E.L.L. – online. The premise of the game is set in a fantasy world, with all the social and state life influenced by magic. Eight different races live in cohabitation within this world and each of them exists in a unique environment, a separate place on the map. For example some live in a swamp or on lakes, and others in a forest but each race builds its own towns, with characteristic architecture. One of the races is Tenki – proud, independent man-birds. They could fly a long time ago, and have since lost the ability but still have a longing for the sky in their blood (Fig.01). My goal was to picture how they should look and to create them with two towns: one town in the mountains and another one on a steppe.
