ABSTRACT
Concept and References The sketch was done in just a few minutes (Fig.01). I started with the railway and the locomotive’s position, building up the main perspective and then adding details
to it as I felt necessary. After a few days, when I decided to remake it in 3D, I started to search for references. I spent several hours searching the Internet and my photographic library to nd nice pictures of elements which I could possibly use. I also went to the train station of my hometown, Hlinik nad Hronom, to take pictures of railways and objects connected to them, like signal lights, wagons and so on.
