Adjustment layers – Project 1 Image adjustments can be applied directly to the image from the Image menu or as nondestructive adjustment layers from the Layers panel. Th e advantage of using adjustment layers is that they can be re-edited an infi nite number of times without causing any degradation to the image data and the adjustments can be applied to localized areas rather than globally by masking their eff ects using the adjustment layer mask that is attached to every adjustment layer. Th is project takes a look at the major adjustment layers used most frequently by photographers.
