ABSTRACT
This chapter presents an overview of the technology in current use for the control and monitoring of broadcast transmission systems. Since the majority of stations operates without a transmitter operator at the transmitter itself, it concentrates on the operation of remote transmitters and other transmission facilities. These techniques can also be applied to locally controlled equipment.
