ABSTRACT

Chromogenic Black-and-White Film In chromogenic black-and-white fi lm, as in most color fi lms, the developing process creates both silver particles and dyes. During processing, carried out in the standard C-41 color negative process, the silver is removed in a bleaching process, leaving a negative image formed only by the dyes. This delivers a very fi ne grain negative, which can be printed in the same manner as conventional black-and-white negatives.
