We credit Henry Fox Talbot, the English inventor of many things photographic, with the discovery of ash illumination back in 1851.
A little progress has been made since then.
Why Battery Flash? We, like many professional photographers, have a variety of arti cial light sources available to us: AC ash, daylight uorescent, HMI, and even some hot lights. So, why do we want battery ash?
