ABSTRACT
When we put a frame around the world, we are making a conscious decision to exclude what is not helpful to our story. Proper lighting craft mestoryans applying the same principle.
Our lighting should accomplish two things: to enhance the three-dimensional (3D) illusion by maximizing texture, and to direct the viewer’s eye to what is important and relevant inside the frame.
