ABSTRACT
A gesture may be subtle, such as someone in peaceful relaxation, but that does not mean the drawing has to be lifeless — without tension or balance and counterbalance. The drawing must look like the character is alive and thinking, and the only way to accomplish that is for you, the artist, to think about what you want the character to appear to be thinking.
