ABSTRACT

Reserved often until the end of a project, the Rendering process is when one create the final movie frames from the After Effects composition, Combustion Workspace, or Motion Sequence. In motion graphics, animation, and compositing software, this is reserved at the end of the project, allowing short previews during the way. Apple’s Motion is designed in some ways as a slimmed down version of After Effects. All of the rendering options are contained within the File > Export menu. Quicktime or Windows Media Player is a general container, but each will have a huge variety of compression formats. Compression is the adjustment of the quality of the video for the purpose of file size and compatibility. Pixels are different on a computer than they are on a standard television. Computers use square-shaped pixels, and televisions will often use pixels that are more rectangular in shape, or not exactly square shaped.
