ABSTRACT

Horror as a whole has always relied on low budgets and various effects. Bigger budget horror films somehow seem to find a way of just not working well, mainly because they are either copying too much or slicking up too much. Distorting the familiar into a monster is a tradition of the horror film. Expressions can be used to make one parameter dependent on another when one can’t use a layer Parent, or want to create a complicated relationship between the two other than strictly parenting. Parenting only affects Position, Rotation, and Scale. In Photoshop, any image can be defined as a brush tip. This is great for creating realistic textures. Spirits are such an abstract thing that when it comes down to it, there are a ton of ways to get that message across, aside from a person who’s just slightly semi-transparent.
