Compensation under the Town and Country Planning Acts II Purchase Notices

Planning compensation as described in previous editions of this book was, of course, claimable only on the basis that the claimant retained the land in question and should be reimbursed for depreciation or other loss relating to such land. The Planning and Compensation Act 1991 abolished the previously subsisting rights to such compensation, except in cases of revocation or modification orders, or discontinuance orders.
