ABSTRACT
Darshana is a supervisor in the Payroll Section of a large retail group which has 16,000 staff scattered among more than 400 local branches. Monthly pay due is calculated manually by local branch managers, and the sheets are sent to Darshana's Section for processing. Her staff code the sheets and enter the details into the computer, which issues the payslips and authorizes payments.
