ABSTRACT

The commonest complaint in any partnership is a clash of cultures. ‘ They just don’t understand us ’ , cries each side, and most of the time, they’re absolutely right. It’s natural for differences to crop up – after all partnerships reach out beyond comfortable boundaries into new and sometimes strange territories. The problems come when different partners start seeing each other only in stereotypes. We’re transparent, they’re secretive. We’re fast, they’re bureaucratic. We’re thoughtful, they’re nothing but show. We’re smart, they’re dumb.
