ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the key commands of Soundtrack. It also discusses the Apple Loops content and provides a comparison chart with the other audio software packages to provide an idea of where Soundtrack fits in. The chapter provides a list of the categories of Apple Loops that are bundled with Soundtrack in the Final Cut Studio package. Some of the categories are provided in a very general manner and would overlap with the more specific areas (Acoustic Bass is in the Acoustic category). Soundtrack is a small program. The features that count for a lot more are availability in studios, automation, and control surface compatibility. However, Final Cut Conform and the specialized tools make a strong case for Soundtrack to be a competitor in the future.
