177 CREATING A WALK CYCLE is a fundamental skill for every animator. Whatever the medium--- film, video games, TV, etc.--- all depend on cycles in a variety of ways. Having a solid technique for creating a walk cycle will pay dividends time and time again, so we’re spending this chapter looking at how to create them with minimal fuss. We’ll also see how to easily fix some common issues that crop up, like knee popping and foot slipping.
