ABSTRACT
PRODUCT SHOTS Product shots call for special care and handling for several reasons. First, the client wants you to make their (sometimes unsightly and hard-to-photograph) product look dramatic, attractive, and exciting. Unlike the still photographer, you may need to have the product or the camera in motion, or both! You may have a black product with lights on it that is a contrast challenge. Or you may have a product that looks like white blob from many angles, without distinguishing features to help the viewer understand what it is. Whatever the product is, it’s your job to figure out a way to light it and make it attractive.
