ABSTRACT
This unit is concerned with the process of deciding which individuals will be
asked to provide information.
It is very unusual for an entire population of interest to be surveyed.
A population of interest refers to the total number of people in a group
that we are interested in. One of the few examples of this is the 10-year
census in the United Kingdom.
