ABSTRACT
As mentioned in the Preface to this book, it is not just portable appliances that have to be inspected and tested, but all in-service electrical equipment. This includes items connected to the supply by BS 1363 13 A plugs, BS EN 60309-2 industrial plugs or hard wired to the fixed installation via fused connection units or single-or three-phase isolators.
