ABSTRACT
The Federal Supply Service, Northeast and Caribbean Region (FSS NECR), is a component of the national Federal Supply Service, which is one of the major divisions of the US General Services Administration. FSS NECR’s mission is to provide federal agencies worldwide with common use supplies and services necessary for success in their various program areas. The FSS NECR Office Supplies and Paper Products Commodity Center (Commodity Center), located in New York City, is responsible for the procurement and management of a wide range of office supplies, paper products, and packing and packaging materials used throughout the federal government worldwide. FSS NECR’s Contract Management Division, headquartered in Boston and operating throughout the northeastern US and the Caribbean, is responsible for quality assurance and contract administration for over 400 FSS suppliers. These vendors provide not only office supplies but also products managed by other Commodity Centers in the FSS national system.
