ABSTRACT
Inspired by Vitez, her teacher at the Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique, Chalem has written (and directed) a number of stage plays, such as A cinquante ans, elle découvrait la mer (At Fifty She Discovered the Sea), as well as screenplays for television. She has enjoyed a successful stage, television and film acting career, working with directors such as Jean-Pierre Vincent at the Théâtre National de Chaillot.
