ABSTRACT
By the end of the first stage in the development process (Chapter 7) individual subject specialists (whom I will refer to as ‘authors’) will usually have agreed to take on responsibility for the development of specific units within the course, and as such will be responsible for the development of unit study guides and for ensuring that all related resources are developed and integrated into the units for which they are responsible.
