A well-managed quality organization can be useful in many ways including better communication, less number of conflicts in responsibilities and activities, better customer satisfaction, and lower cost. More simply, a well-managed quality organization is essential in producing an acceptable quality item at competitive prices. Otherwise, in today’s global economy, a company with poorly managed quality function may not be in business for a very long time.
