ABSTRACT

Methyltestosterone-estrogen combination was not associated with any significant changes in the endometrium.7 In a 4-month study, endometrial hyperplasia was detected in 1 of 107 women receiving estrogen plus methyltestosterone as compared with 1 of 111 women receiving unopposed estrogen.32 In only one earlier study in which postmenopausal women had received estradioltestosterone implants combined with oral norethindrone, 6% incidence of cystic endometrial hyperplasia was reported.70
